storing player position

version 3.5.2 topic how to store player position
Here is the thing. I have two campfires and everytime i rest at one of them the system should store player position and when defeated in battle the last stored position is restored on player. Must be like this because i stored the campfire position and it is WRONG. Campfire is positioned on Y-axis a few pixels higher and maybe the origin is not the same so the restoring position to player would position him on bad y-position. Remember this!
